About this tour

Step into Joseon-era Korea, just south of Seoul. Put on a hanbok, walk the UNESCO Hwaseong Fortress wall, and wander a living folk village of thatched houses and traditional performances — with Korean friends beside you to explain what you're seeing.

Day plan

  1. 09:00 Meet your group and board the coach in Seoul
  2. 10:30 Pick and put on your hanbok
  3. 11:00 Walk the Hwaseong Fortress wall & Haenggung palace
  4. 13:00 Korean lunch near the fortress
  5. 14:30 Korean Folk Village — crafts, old houses & a live performance
  6. 18:00 Arrive back at the Seoul meeting point
