Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TravelUps and the bookings you make through it. By using the service or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. About TravelUps

TravelUps is a booking service operated for international travellers visiting Korea. We connect you with a licensed Seoul-area bus operator for two types of trip: a private bus charter for your group, or a single seat on a ready-made bus tour.

TravelUps acts as the booking agent; the bus, driver, and any guide or interpreter are provided by our partner operator.

2. Booking and payment

Every trip starts as a quote request with a booking reference starting with "TU". A quote request is not a confirmed booking and reserves nothing on its own. Our team then confirms the details and the final price with you in the message thread on your booking page.

Payment is made by bank transfer to our partner operator, using the bank details our team shares with you in that message thread. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. We never ask for or store card details.

Prices are shown in Korean won (₩). Any currency conversion or transfer fees charged by your bank are your responsibility.

3. Cancellations and changes

Cancellations are governed by the Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms. The current refund schedule is shown on the payment screen and on the Cancellation Policy page.

Changes to date, route or group size may affect the price. We will send a revised quote in the message thread on your booking page before any further payment or refund.

4. Use of the service

You must provide accurate contact and traveller information. You are responsible for being at the pick-up point on time with valid travel documents (e.g. passport for DMZ routes).

You must not use the service for anything illegal, dangerous, or that would put the driver, guide or other passengers at risk.

5. Operator responsibilities and limits

Our partner operator is responsible for the safe operation of the bus, the driver, and any guide or interpreter included with your booking. Vehicles and drivers are licensed under Korean law.

TravelUps and the operator are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, public transport disruption, or events beyond reasonable control. We are not responsible for personal items left on the bus, although we will do our best to help recover them.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking.

6. Mix Tours and shared experiences

Mix Tours intentionally bring international and Korean travellers together. By booking a Mix Tour you agree to share the bus, the day and the guide with other guests, and to behave respectfully toward them.

7. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by friendly discussion will be heard in the competent Korean courts.
